Summer Entertaining Tip #3

Posted on June 22, 2016 by Michelle Rynn

The Summer is a great time for no hassle entertaining.  A few organizational tips can help with this.

In order to make meal preparation easier, having key ingredients ready in advance can save time and money.

Most people enjoy salads year round, but they are especially good on the warm days of Summer.

Preparing your own salad dressings in advance is a great way to save both time and money.

Simply mix up your favorite dressings and place them in glass jars.

Use Artisan's Effect markers to label your jars.

After you have finished your dressing, you can wash off the writing from the glass jar and start the process again.

Summer Entertaining Tip #2

Posted on May 26, 2016 by Michelle Rynn

We all wish for the lazy days of Summer.  Even though the days may not be as lazy as we would like, we can make things simpler during the Summer- and that includes entertaining.  Either it be your family, a few friends, or a big Summertime BBQ bash, preparing a few things at the beginning of Summer can save you time and money.

By placing your plastic utensils into separate containers and labeling them, you can easily find and use your utensils when the occasion pops up.

Using chalk markers on labels or directly on the containers, makes it easy to keep organized.

Just store your containers in your pantry and pull them out when needed for inside or outside dining.

Quick and Easy!

Summertime Entertaining Tip #1

Posted on May 14, 2016 by Michelle Rynn

The weather is getting warmer, and it's time to entertain outside.  It's wonderful to eat outside and enjoy the summer sun.  One way to make the experience more pleasant is to secure your napkins in a cylinder shaped vase.

Using Artisan's Effect chalk markers, you can easily label the glass vase.  And when you want to remove the design, all you need is a damp cloth.

You can use any of our chalk markers, but for this project I used our new line of Amazing Craft Markers that have a finer tip.
